Women Need a Little Wine to Get in the Mood

Research has shown that as many as 75% of 3000 women questioned actually prefer sex after having consumed some alcohol. They said that they lost their inhibitions by drinking a glass or two of wine before going to bed and this helped them to be more adventurous.

Of the women surveyed apparently 6% had never had sex while sober. Many of the women who said that they liked a drink before sex said that it gave them a boost in confidence.

The results of this survey suggest that British women are lacking in bedroom confidence. Consuming alcohol gives their self esteme a boost.

Many women said that they would actually refuse to have sex with someone if they had not had a drink and they saw sharing a beverage all part of the courtship process.

The survey results clearly show that many women feel unable to relax and enjoy sex without first having a little alcohol. Alcohol consumption is recognised as often leading to a loss of self control and one night stands.

Apparently, one in six women can’t have sex with someone without first consuming some alcohol.

The survey indicated that about 14% or women in relationships weren’t happy having sex with their partners without having a drink first.

Another survey for men appears to suggest that they too lack sexual confidence. Many men have said that performance anxiety is the reason they take a drink before sex. They too like to share a drink or two with their prospective sexual partners before heading for the bedroom.

The survey clearly shows that many people lack sexual confidence and aren’t able to communicate openly with one another. Some have expresssed concern over the use of alcohol in this way as this is often what fuels unprotected sex with strangers.
