Today’s world is so filled with stress we let it take over our lifestyle. Careers, the economy, and difficulties with relationships that often seem overwhelming can impair one’s health before one realizes the toll it’s taking. Currently, an increasing number of people are using an ‘Autogenic Training’ technique, created by German psychiatrist Johannes Schultz. This technique enables individuals to fight the negative effects that come with long periods of stress. This form of relaxation was discovered through dedication which is the same thing that is necessary to obtain the results you would be looking for.
It doesn’t matter the reason you need to relax be it to reduce stress, depression, fatigue or any other symptom you may have as a complication from a hectic life, relief is only 15 minutes away. In just 3 short session per day, complete relaxation can be achieved simply by putting one’s self into a state of self-hypnosis where mind and body are both released from all external factors that are affecting it. This is a semi-conscious state and can be easily achieved by even a novice requiring no medication or external influences.
Many of the medical treatments of today have begun to include Autogenic Training because it purports that many of our physical and psychological symptoms can find relief through these simple relaxation techniques. Many other convenient techniques for relaxation are also gaining in popularity.
For example, there is a growing number of people who purchase Human Touch Perfect Chair Electric Base in order to achieve these results. To achieve relaxation, a good deal of these current models utilize a ‘meditative state’ technique. Sensations of anxiety and pressure begin to dissipate as you repeatedly instruct particular body parts for relax themselves.
Certain Yoga poses also use similar ideas during meditation, wherein the human body is placed in positions which promote both comfort and relaxation. For many just lying flat on the floor on one’s back can achieve the desired state when convincing each body part, beginning with the toes to relax and ‘chill out’. As you progress in the direction of your head, it becomes increasingly easier to relax your various parts.
As with any new relaxation technique you will have to learn this by repetition and sincere dedication. Do not worry if after the first time you were not able to get to the state of mind you wanted. Not only does the body have to be trained to relax, but so does the mind. With the tension one is used to living with, it’s difficult to learn to let go, but with practice it is not only possible, but one will soon find that it is easier to learn to let go than believed.
Even if one decides to visit a professional therapist he/she may also introduce one to the invaluable techniques of self relaxation. This may include a type of biofeedback or even equipment designed to assist with this process, especially for those who have difficulty with the concept. A healthy lifestyle depends on being able to utilize one of these relaxation techniques, n matter what it may be.
Autogenic Training is appropriate for any age and requires no special equipment or supervision. It takes little training and can be done quickly and easily in the privacy of one’s own home. It is important that everyone find a way to relax and rejuvenate especially during those times when life’s tensions can take a toll on your mental and physical state, do it before it becomes life-threatening. It’s a comfort to know that in just 3 short 15-minute session a day one can take back their lives and truly feel that they are in control of the situation again.
